WLS - Collateral Monitoring VP

Job Responsibilities :

  • Buildout of the footprint for one of the functions of WLS in Buenos Aires ensuring full alignment with global functional partners and stakeholders.
  • Lead and manage teams responsible for processing all activities related to the loan lifecycle by partnering with both internal and external clients, stakeholders, and regulatory partners.
  • Works independently to achieve desired outcomes aligned to strategic initiatives and requires advanced relationship management and collaboration with key stakeholders.
  • Manage costs and resourcing for the team and is responsible for the disciplined delivery against budget and targets
  • Create and promote a robust controls environment within the team and build partnerships with key control stakeholders through communication and governance.
  • Build and cultivate high performing teams through attracting, developing and retaining top talent; cultivating a strong performance management discipline.
  • Identify and deliver appropriate solutions that address the needs of clients and stakeholders

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree or comparable work experience with a minimum of 7 years in operations and management roles; wholesale loan operations experience a plus.
  • Track record of hiring in mass and in managing and motivating large teams, providing vision, creativity, presence, and credibility
  • Proven ability to manage and collaborate within a highly matrixed organization with multiple teams, coordinate cross-functional initiatives, and reach consensus with diverse stakeholders
  • Problem Solving Skills - Solid critical thinking, attention to detail and diagnostic skills; Able to synthesize large amounts of data and formulate appropriate conclusions
  • Internal Stakeholder Management - Establishes productive working relationships with internal stakeholders to drive mutually beneficial outcomes;
  • Risk & Control Mindset - show sound judgment in balancing innovation and growth with regulatory, legal, and operational risk management.
  • Executive Communication - ability to distill complex topics into clear, concise messages tailored for senior stakeholders and clients.

  • Decision Making - Ability to make subjective and informed choices based upon output, and influence stakeholders in a pragmatic and balanced way
  • Continuous Improvement - Applies innovation and design thinking techniques to continually assess and improve the efficiency, scale, and resilience of our operating platform.
  • Ownership/Accountability - demonstrate end to end understanding and ownership of outcomes, proactively manages issues, takes responsibility over tasks under his/her management
  • Leadership & Influence - demonstrate ability to lead projects, mentor talent, and influence cross-functional teams without a necessary formal authority.
