Job summary:

As an Associate in the Wealth Management Reconciliations Center of Excellence, you will execute daily reconciliations and control activities, investigate breaks, assign ownership, and drive timely resolution. You will partner with stakeholders across operations, technology, finance, and risk and controls to maintain a strong control environment through disciplined governance, evidence retention, and clear sign-offs. You will perform root-cause analysis to identify control gaps and recurring issues, and you will support process and system enhancements that improve efficiency and resilience. You will communicate clearly, influence cross-functional partners, and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.

Job responsibilities:

  • Manage daily multi-currency reconciliations and investigate breaks to determine cause, required actions, and resolution path.
  • Coordinate break ownership and drive timely closure through structured follow-up and escalation.
  • Execute business-as-usual controls, complete required evidence and sign-offs, and support audit readiness aligned to reconciliation control standards.
  • Analyze processes, data, and systems to identify control gaps, root causes, and opportunities to reduce manual risk.
  • Produce required key metrics and governance inputs accurately and on time.
  • Lead or support modernization initiatives from initiation through closure, partnering with operations, technology, finance, and risk and controls stakeholders.
  • Track actions, dependencies, and outstanding requirements to ensure delivery commitments are met.
  • Maintain 100% adherence to documented operational procedures to support accuracy, timeliness, and consistent outcomes.
  • Build inclusive stakeholder relationships and provide clear, actionable updates to senior audiences.
  • Mentor junior team members through knowledge sharing, practical guidance, and reinforcement of strong execution discipline.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related discipline from a recognized institute.
  • Eight years of core operations experience in a financial services environment.
  • Demonstrated experience performing reconciliations or closely related control-focused operational activities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including resolving complex operational issues through structured investigation.
  • Demonstrated ability to execute controls, maintain documentation quality, and retain evidence to support audit readiness.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including influencing cross-functional partners and communicating with senior audiences.
  • Demonstrated ownership and accountability in a fast-paced, changing environment with competing deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills with a partnership mindset.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage workflow to maintain high quality and timely completion of deliverables.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities independently and drive actions to closure.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Familiarity with modern front-end technologies and cloud technologies.
  • Experience with reconciliation platforms or tooling (for example, iRecs).
  • Experience using data and visualization tools (for example, Tableau) for operational monitoring.
  • Experience using analytics and automation tools (for example, Python or Alteryx), including relevant certifications.
