Vice President, SMB Business Card Portfolio Spend and Lend Strategies
As the Vice President within Chase Branded Cards in Card Services, a key business within Consumer & Community Banking at JPMorganChase, you will be a leader on the Small Business (SMB) Card team, responsible for shaping and executing cross-portfolio spend and lend strategies and promoting capabilities that accelerates growth, deepens engagement, and improves portfolio economics.
You will operate at the intersection of product, analytics, risk, finance, and delivery, translating insights into a clear strategic roadmap and measurable outcomes. The role requires a strong understanding of credit card economics, an interest in customer insights and marketing, and a high degree of curiosity.
Job Responsibilities
- Define cross-portfolio strategies that drive premium spend and profitable revolve: Lead critical spend and lend strategies across the SMB business card portfolio, including supporting the prioritization of initiatives, sequencing, and expected impact.
- Create SMB cross-portfolio capabilities roadmap: Drive the cross-product capability development roadmap (e.g., spend and lend engagement levers, rewards and redemption capabilities, features and UX strategy, servicing experiences), partnering with Product and Delivery teams from concept through launch.
- Translate economics into action: Apply deep understanding of P&L and unit economics to shape strategies for spend engagement, lending growth, messaging and features.
- Customer and segment strategy: Develop a point of view on SMB segment profiles, including spend and revolve behaviors, rewards redemptions, and industry trends to inform priorities.
- Partner with Risk & Lending & Rewards: Collaborate closely with Risk Management and Lending partners on spend capacity and lending strategies tailored to SMB customers-balancing growth objectives with performance and risk appetite.
- Test, learn, and scale: Build a holistic learning agenda with Analytics, Risk, Finance, and Centers of Excellence; structure tests, synthesize results, and convert learnings into roadmap changes and scalable playbooks.
- Lead through influence: Align stakeholders across functions, drive decision-making, and ensure accountability to deliver outcomes against a multi-quarter roadmap.

Required qualifications, skills, and capabilities
- 6+ years experience in analytics, finance, strategy, product, or portfolio management; credit card portfolio management and/or lending experience
- Strong understanding of customer insights, P&L dynamics, and credit card risk metrics (e.g., loss rates, approvals, utilization, line management, profitability drivers).
- Demonstrated ability to take a strategic idea from business case to delivery with strong measurement plan managing dependencies and tradeoffs to deliver within a larger roadmap.
- Exceptional stakeholder management; proven success influencing outcomes in a highly matrixed environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level storytelling and crisp synthesis of complex analysis.
- Highly proactive, strategic, and results-driven; strong prioritization skills across multiple concurrent initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree required
