Vice President, Business Advocacy Insights

As a Vice President on the Business Advocacy team, you will partner with industry-leading data analytics and research professionals to craft compelling, influential narratives that shape the firm's direction on its most critical issues-driving impact, inspiring change, and elevating our story across the organization and beyond.
Job Responsibilities
- Drive analysis of the firm's position, competitors' stances, and the underlying data shaping public and policy narratives by coordinating efforts across a cross-functional group of stakeholders
- Generate actionable, data-driven insights that clarify the firm's perspective on priority issues and support decision-making for internal and external stakeholders.
- Partner with data, communications, policy, and government relations teams, as well as LOBs, to identify emerging topics, analyze positions, and fill gaps in advocacy efforts.
- Organize and facilitate working groups to assess facts supporting both the firm's and opponents' positions, spot gaps, and coordinate efforts to address them.
- Strategically responsible for understanding and communicating how data and research inform our positions, drive advocacy, and support communications, policy, and government relations objectives..
- Oversee the synthesis of complex data sets into actionable insights and research, feeding findings to PR and Government Relations for use in campaigns, briefings, and stakeholder engagement.
- Stay ahead of hot topics and regulatory developments, ensuring the team is prepared to respond with timely, fact-based analysis.
- Present impact analysis and narrative recommendations to senior leadership, ensuring alignment with business strategy and advocacy priorities.
- Establish best practices for data analysis, narrative development, and cross-team collaboration, driving innovation in advocacy approaches.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 10+ years of experience in content, marketing strategy, data analytics, public affairs, or related fields within the private sector in financial services or regulated industries.
- Proven leadership in building and managing high-performing, cross-functional teams.
- Exceptional ability to translate complex data into clear, persuasive narratives for diverse audiences.
