UAT and System Implementation Manager, Home Lending

As a UAT & System Implementation (SI) and Pledge Manager within Capital Markets Operations, you will lead both the Capital Markets UAT & Systems Implementation and the Capital Markets Pledge resources in Manila. You will provide strategic direction, coaching, and operational support, collaborating closely with business units, technology teams, and external partners. You will oversee user acceptance testing, pledge operations, and drive process improvements, ensuring all activities are executed efficiently and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Job responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and develop the team, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback; oversee planning, execution, and reporting of team activities.
- Ensure proper coverage for relevant responsibilities.
- Drive the adoption and expansion of automation and AI within the team.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices in both UAT and Pledge.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and quality standards.
- Review and approve test plans, scripts, and strategies, ensuring comprehensive test coverage.
- Manage defect tracking and resolution, escalating critical issues as needed.
- Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, technology teams, and the UAT team.
- Coordinate system implementation, including requirements analysis, testing, and deployment.
- Monitor and report on testing progress, milestones, and quality metrics to senior management.
- Provide operational support for configuration changes and issue resolution in Capital Markets applications.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Minimum three years of experience in UAT, QA, or related roles, with at least two years in a leadership or management capacity.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
- Strong leadership, team management, and mentoring skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization and external partners.
- Advanced analytical, critical thinking, and decision-making abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in high-pressure, time-sensitive environments.
- Experience with audits and control framework.
- Client-focused mindset, with a commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
- Ability to identify, escalate, and resolve issues outside of scope, and recommend process enhancements.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Proven experience leading teams or managing projects in the mortgage or financial services industry.
- Experience with test management and project management applications (e.g., qTest, JIRA).
- Familiarity with Capital Markets and Home Lending systems (e.g., Encompass, MSP, MPX, CLM, SWS, CMDM, IVAULT).
- Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium/IntelliJ, UDF, Playwright).
- Proficiency in SQL and data analysis across multiple systems.
