As an Associate within the Wealth Management team, you oversee account fees and financial processes. You ensure documentation accuracy, assist with compliance, and provide essential support to property managers and analysts. You contribute to the team's success by enhancing operational efficiency and maintaining high standards.
Job Responsibilities:
- Monitor account fees and identify anomalies for review.
- Prepare and reconcile check request forms.
- Verify receipt of checks and documentation.
- Conduct mini-audits of recent leases.
- Ensure all required documents are uploaded.
- Track committee items and image signed forms.
- Confirm bonus/consideration received.
- Prepare updated W9 forms as needed.
- Send change of address letters and verify updates.
- Analyze monthly expense reports for significant changes.
- Escalate high-priority items from group Digimail box.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Demonstrate 7+ years of experience in financial operations, accounting, or wealth management.
- Hold a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Display exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Manage multiple tasks and prioritize efficiently.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint proficiently.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Apply experience in oil and gas asset management or mineral accounting.
- Understand lease administration and committee processes.
- Manage escheated funds and tax monitoring tasks.
- Employ advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and data analysis.
- Support property managers with specialized asset knowledge.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for process improvements.
- Adapt to evolving financial regulations and compliance requirements.
