Treasury Operations Associate
As Treasury Operations Associate, you will be responsible for managing activities within Treasury Operations including treasury settlements, cash and card settlements. You will also be required to support and build out treasury operation processes in collaboration with a diverse range of partner teams such as product, operations, process engineering, controls, risk & compliance.
As part of the process set up, the candidate is expected to bring their reconciliations as well as process build knowledge and experience to the table. This will involve working with various teams to help design the process, create the journeys that will impact TOPS, participate in testing to ensure desired results, create and maintain up to date documentation including procedures and process maps, create and maintain effective controls for all TOPs processes, create and report on KPIs and KRIs for all TOPs processes, manage stakeholders effectively across various teams and finally to lead the processes into BAU mode and sustainability.

The team supports a range of processes including suspense accounts set up and management and ensures secure and efficient operations for the debit card/savings product and credit card. Reconciliation processes range across cash transactions, card transactions, liquidity monitoring, Apple Pay, suspense account management including reporting on write offs, aged breaks and balances. There will be additional products and services to create and manage in the future.
Job responsibilities:
- Working with partner teams to set up TOPS processes for ICB. This will include working on builds, process maps and customer journeys that impact TOPs, testing and sign off to take the processes to a BAU mode.
- As an SME , you'll operate as an individual contributor focusing on leveraging your specialised knowledge to provide expert guidance without direct people management responsibilities
- Build end to end processes for TOPs across various areas.
- Stake holder management and partnership with ICB internal teams.
- Maintain a secure and efficient work environment by establishing, following and enforcing standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations, policies and controls.
- Ensure Risk and controls policies are adhered to.
- Partner with Operations teams and devise ways of improving the customer experience, including resolving problems.
- Work with Controls and Audit to ensure all processes are in place, robust and risk-free.
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, building and maintaining work relationships.
Required qualifications, skills and capabilities:
- A detailed understanding of reconciliation processes across cash and card transactions as well as relevant experience in leading and developing a team.
- Ability to partner with stakeholders across different teams and locations and managing conflict and difficult conversations.
- Being able to think on one's feet and have effective decision-making skills that benefit the business and the team.
- Ability to work on MIS and metrics reporting - analysing and deciphering data and presenting the same to leadership in an effective manner.
- Ability to work within strict timelines and deliver with a sense of urgency, ownership and accountability.
- Effective problem solving skills, being able to bring solutions to the table and implement the same and be able to think strategically.
- Good communication skills, spoken as well as written and the ability to influence others in a positive manner.
- Effective delegation of work within the team, building SMEs.
Preferred qualifications, skills and capabilities:
- Knowledge of reporting and visualization tools such as Alteryx, Tableau.
