As a Transactions Specialist III at JPMorgan Chase, you will act as a key liaison for Legal Response Operations and partner across Asset & Wealth Management, Commercial Banking, and the Corporate & Investment Bank, while working closely with Consumer & Community Banking. You will manage customer accounts and inquiries, and you will process, clear, service, research, and settle transactions-all while applying developing skills in automation, artificial intelligence, and data literacy to enhance service quality, efficiency, and controls. Your ability to coach, communicate clearly, and manage conflicts constructively will help maintain a positive team environment and strong customer outcomes.

Job responsibilities

  • Liaise with stakeholders and subject matter experts across Compliance, Investment Bank, Treasury Services, Consumer Bank, and Technology to support business and functional tasks.
  • Perform root-cause analyses on new or recurring issues and control gaps, and recommend remediation actions.
  • Handle and manage escalations from the generic mailbox across all queues and products (Derivatives, Custody, Treasury, Prime Brokerage, Fixed Income, Mortgage Loans, Credit Lines).
  • Collect data and prepare reports on key metrics to inform operations and control effectiveness.
  • Complete audit documentation and indexing with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Evaluate data from multiple sources in a fast-paced environment to support decision-making.
  • Exercise judgment on routine decisions and escalate complex audit or legal requests to senior staff as needed.
  • Ensure process continuity and SLA adherence through effective backups, follow-ups, and clear day-to-day communication.
  • Conduct advanced research across systems to investigate exceptions and account-not-found issues, and route items to the appropriate group.
  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions and communicate with business partners to resolve outstanding cases and issues.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Strong control and quality management skills; accuracy and attention to detail are vital.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time-critical deliveries in a high-pressure environment.
  • Excellent business writing and verbal English communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong coaching, presentation, and leadership skills; ability to motivate and unify a team.
  • Adaptability to change and ability to manage change effectively.
  • Hands-on approach to driving results.
  • Ability to deliver direct feedback and communicate clearly.

Preferred qualifications, skills, and capabilities

  • Strong knowledge of banking operations, preferably in the Confirmations space and related products.
  • Bachelor's degree (Commerce/Accounting).
  • In-depth knowledge of over-the-counter, Treasury, Loan products, and global markets.
