Transactions Specialist II - 1st shift

  • Role requires production floor support in all aspects of operation: supply inventory, troubleshooting equipment and project management support.
  • Lifting and moving mail trays weighing up to 50 pounds, moving and lifting up to 95% of the time.
  • Inputting data into the system while following standard operating procedures and customer specific instructions for processing.
  • Operating Imaging/Extraction Equipment (iTRAN, IBML, OPEX 7200, OPEX 150) while validating quality of images
  • Verifying negotiability of checks through customer specific instructions for processing
  • Lifting and moving mail trays weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Working in all areas/departments of production as needed and contributing to meeting team goals
  • Making judgment calls regarding routine duties, but referring to non-routine situations to a supervisor and/or manager


Requirements:

  • Detail-oriented
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Production environment focus around meeting deadlines
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft applications
  • Alpha/Numeric data entry and typing skills - with excellent accuracy
  • Must be a team player and maintain a positive attitude
  • Physical requirements: Sitting - up to 95% of the time, standing - up to 10% of the time, Lifting - up to 5% of the time and up to 50 pounds; Walking - up to 10% of the time

Schedule: Monday- Friday 7am-330pm

Additional hours and/or mandatory overtime may be required during peak volume periods and based on other business needs.

Security Clearance Requirement:

Government Security Clearance, including Public Trust clearance, will be required for this position. As a condition of employment, the selected candidate must successfully complete comprehensive background screening to obtain the necessary clearance. This process includes, but is not limited to:

  • Fingerprints
  • Credit check
  • Proof of U.S. Citizenship, Acceptable documents may include a U.S. passport, certificate of naturalization, or original/certified birth certificate.
  • Verification of employment history
  • Educational background
  • Criminal record check
  • Tax filing history (possibly)
  • References
  • Information on relatives including citizenship
  • 7 Year Travel History
  • 7 Year Residence History
  • Government interview completion and favorable background investigation.
  • Other relevant verifications as mandated by federal requirements

Employment is contingent upon the candidate's ability to meet all requirements for government security and Public Trust clearance. Following hire, failure to maintain this clearance may result in termination of employment.
