Join a fast-moving middle office team that helps ensure trades are booked correctly, risks are managed, and issues are resolved before they impact clients or the business. You will work across functions-front office, operations, technology, finance, legal, and compliance-to keep transactions moving smoothly. This role is ideal if you are analytical, resourceful, and able to act with urgency in a matrixed environment.

As an Analyst in the Securitized Products Middle Office in Hong Kong, you will support business activity across multiple Asia-Pacific markets. You will manage key middle office processes including collateral data, exposure coordination, know your customer processes, booking support, and vendor invoicing. You will identify issues early, coordinate resolution across teams, and maintain strong control discipline. Your work is critical to the bank because it helps prevent breaks, reduces operational risk, and supports timely settlement and accurate reporting.

Job responsibilities

  • Maintain collateral data and related operational records with strong accuracy and control discipline.
  • Coordinate between origination and credit teams to support exposure management and resolve open items.
  • Manage know your customer processes, ensuring required steps are completed accurately and on time.
  • Coordinate booking in securities and loan systems and support key lifecycle events.
  • Coordinate third-party vendor invoicing and billing activities.
  • Support sales credit submissions and required follow-ups with stakeholders.
  • Identify operational issues, escalate appropriately, and drive resolution across internal partners.
  • Support process and technology changes by documenting requirements and coordinating delivery where needed.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in securities operations or middle office support.
  • Fluency in Chinese and English (reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension) as this individual will work with chinese clients and teams
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to coordinate across front office, operations, technology, finance, legal, and compliance teams.
  • Resourceful problem-solver with a strong sense of urgency and ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
  • Strong attention to detail, risk awareness, and timely escalation judgement.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience supporting securitization or highly structured transactions.
  • Experience with loan booking systems such as LoanIQ.
  • Experience with automation tools such as Alteryx or UiPath.
  • VBA or Python coding knowledge.
