DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Provide strategic direction to support new business growth in a controlled, agile, and scalable manner. Collaborate with IT for successful system deployment and integration, identifying opportunities for process improvements and automation. Ensure infrastructure and processes support new offerings, monitor performance, and provide feedback for improvement. Work with teams to create a comprehensive operating environment for derivatives, designing solutions that meet business requirements. Build relationships across business, risk, technology, and support groups to ensure a robust control environment. Partner with global leaders to ensure consistency in operating environment resiliency, aligning with line of business goals. Drive onboarding for clients, brokers, and funds, ensuring efficient transitions. Collaborate with teams to gather documentation, maintaining client and stakeholder relationships for service delivery. Support new derivative product launches, coordinating with development, sales, and operations. Drive new infrastructure projects to enhance efficiency. Establish control and governance frameworks to mitigate risks and ensure regulatory compliance. Conduct reviews and audits, developing best practices for risk management and operational controls. Define the end-to-end operating environment for derivatives with a focus on risk and control. Implement new procedures and change processes to ensure controls from front to back.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: 3-year or 4-year Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field of study plus 7 years of experience in the job offered or as Trading Services VP, Derivatives Middle Office VP, Trading Process Manager, Trade Support Analyst, Data Management Analyst, or related occupation.

Skills Required: This position requires seven (7) years of experience with the following: Managing treasury operations; Performing back valuations for payments, including adjustments, reconciliations, and regulatory implications such as fair value accounting standards; Managing risks associated with derivative products, with consideration of regulatory requirements; Producing risk reports and profit & loss statements, including conducting analysis and interpretation in compliance with financial reporting standards and disclosure requirements; Calculating and interpreting sensitivity measures for financial instruments; Leading global teams of at least 10 individuals; Project management of transformation projects and automations. This position requires five (5) years of experience with the following: Credit Derivatives, ensuring compliance with Dodd-Frank, MiFID, and EMIR; Asset Swaps, interest rate swaps, and bond markets with SEF and central clearing requirements; Credit-linked notes focusing on risk assessment, pricing, and regulatory disclosure; Regulatory reporting; Options on credit derivatives, including pricing models and margin requirements; Executing cross-border fund transfers with AML and sanctions compliance; Developing funding strategies, both short-term and long-term, considering liquidity risk; FX spot transactions and currency markets with reporting and conduct rules; Overseeing derivative risks, including market, credit, and operational aspects, within regulatory frameworks; Forecasting profit and loss based on market conditions and trading strategies, incorporating stress testing; Applying option Greeks in risk management and trading strategies with regulatory reporting. This position requires four (4) years of experience with the following: utilizing market data sources and tools for data analysis and application in trading decisions with data accuracy and adherence to reporting regulations; using Bloomberg terminal for market analysis, trading, and data retrieval, while maintaining compliance with data privacy and regulatory standards; bond valuation and yield curve analysis, managing interest rate risk, and adhering to TRACE reporting and bond market transparency requirements; settlement processes for various financial instruments including clearing and reconciliation with compliance with settlement finality and risk mitigation regulations. This position requires two (2) years of experience with the following: Equity markets, trading strategies, and valuation techniques, with adherence to insider trading laws and market conduct rules; Cash and derivatives products across Bonds, Equity, Treasuries, and Exchange Traded products; Overseeing global third-party vendors and service providers, including back office, custodians, and clearing brokers; Processing trade lifecycles for Fixed Income and Derivatives, including confirmations and ISDA protocol; Regulatory reporting compliance with CFTC, SEC, MiFID II, ASIC, and EMIR; Collateral and margin for OTC and exchange-traded futures and options; Preparing senior management MIS and presentations for KPI, audits, and issue management; SWIFT and MarkitWire for trade confirmation and processing; TriOptima for risk management and portfolio optimization; DSMatch for trade matching and reconciliation; ICE Link for credit derivatives trading and processing; Market Trade Processing systems for trade execution and management with trade transparency; fee structures and charges associated with financial transactions and services, including regulatory considerations such as fee disclosure to client based on IMA's. This position requires knowledge of loan products, including syndication, pricing, and risk assessment, with compliance to lending standards and capital requirements.
