As a Trading Services Associate I within JPMorganChase, you will play a pivotal role in the seamless execution of trade activities, from order entry to settlement. While still developing, your expertise in market products and understanding of automation technologies will be instrumental in optimizing our trading services. You will be expected to leverage your proficiency in change management and continuous improvement to enhance the efficiency and resilience of our operating platform Your role will also allow you to keep developing your relationships with internal stakeholders, presenting insights to senior management, and driving process improvements. Your decisions will contribute and impact on short-term team and department goals, and you will often guide others in their work activities, contributing to the overall success of our trading services.

Job responsibilities

  • Capture all transactions in the Risk Management Systems timely and accurately.
  • Complete intraday and end-of-day processes, including completeness and reconciliation checks, to ensure new trading activity and general book management are processed accurately.
  • Collaborate closely with Operations functions and infrastructure groups to support a 'one team approach.'
  • Ensure all controls are diligently performed, completed, and signed off on a timely basis.
  • Communicate clearly and concisely with all support teams to ensure the timely and efficient resolution of queries.
  • Participate in and contribute to various strategic initiatives; continuously improve and evolve processes and business architecture.
  • Build an in-depth understanding of all trading structures from both financial and operational perspectives.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Graduate with Minimum 5 years of experience
  • End to end Client Trade Life cycle management including allocation, prematching, fails management, Reconciliation (FOBO / FOFO) etc.
  • Effectively engage with various internal teams across locations for resolution of issues, working collectively on process improvement initiatives etc.
  • Must have clear communication skills and an ability to use these to work collaboratively, explain, and challenge, as appropriate
  • Possess strong analytical and numerical skills. Strong problem solving, control, and project management skills
  • Live Client interaction through mail and Client hotline
  • Query management tools - Work with Settlements, Confirmations & Accounting to review and assist with any settlement, confirmation and or accounting related queries/issues
  • Monitor live reject queues and clear exception in timely manner
  • Strong understanding of MTA, Settlement related issues, Depos, Fails management on FI products,Prematching
