Trade Support Analyst

As a Trade Support Analyst within Trade Lifecycle team, you will develop and manage innovative, secure service solutions to meet clients' needs globally. You will drive growth by refining technology-driven customer and client experiences that put users first, providing an unparalleled experience.
Role is part of Client Instruction Capture and Settlements involved in Trades Processing, Broker Facing and Fails Management and Trades Support
Job Responsibilities:
- Process trades in accordance with the established work practices and procedures in CIC Trades
- Monitoring and management of trade capture, fails management and settlement activities
- Address settlement discrepancies/issues and leverage escalation channels promptly
- Respond to queries relating to trade status and market practice
- Provide inputs to Operational management and control of the daily workflow within the Custody Team
- Provide inputs in terms of maximizing team capacity, allocation and resource planning
- Contribute to the strategic development of Custody products
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
- 4+ years in Financial Services with custody, fund services, and markets exposure
- Understanding of Treasury vs. Agent (off-book currency) FX
- Strong risk and control awareness; able to prioritize and meet critical deadlines
- Excellent customer service; handles difficult internal and external situations
- Hands-on experience in reconciliation, settlements, fails management, trade support, risk/control, and custody
- Fast learner of new markets, products, and processes
- Confident communicator across mediums with internal and external clients
- Strategic thinker; able to review and implement process improvements
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Background in global or local custody; familiar with SWIFT MT54 series
- Project/initiative leadership; works accurately under pressure and flexible for APAC shifts (start times 6-11am)
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:
- Global Custody or Local Custody background
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferred
- Experience in driving projects and initiatives
- Good knowledge in MS Office Suite applications - MS Word, Excel and Power Point
- Capable of working under pressure and to cope with changing volumes, whilst maintaining accuracy and quality.
- Flexibility working on APAC and late APAC shift (as early as 6am to 11am start of shift)
