As a Trade Lifecycle Associate in the Custody Team, you will manage the end-to-end workflow of custody trades, ensuring accurate processing, settlement, and risk control. You will collaborate with global teams, address settlement issues, and contribute to the strategic development of custody products. In this role, you will leverage your market knowledge and operational expertise to deliver exceptional service and drive process improvements.

Job Responsibilities:
- Manage workflow through the life cycle of custody trades.
- Process and validate trades in accordance with established procedures.
- Monitor and manage trade capture, fails management, and settlement activities.
- Address settlement discrepancies and escalate issues promptly.
- Respond to queries regarding trade status and market practices.
- Oversee daily workflow within the custody team, ensuring operational control.
- Maximize team capacity through effective resource planning and training.
- Communicate strategic and regulatory changes to the department.
- Review and update Standard Operating Procedures in line with new policies and risk management.
- Contribute to the strategic development of custody products.
- Ensure compliance with risk and control requirements.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Minimum four years of experience in financial services (custody and fund services or markets).
- Understanding of Treasury versus Agent (Off Book currency) FXs.
- Strong risk and control awareness, with the ability to prioritize workloads and meet deadlines.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Subject matter expertise in reconciliation, settlements, fails management, trade support, risk and control, and custody.
- Ability to learn new markets, products, and processes quickly.
- Strategic thinker with experience in process improvement.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Familiarity with SWIFT messages, specifically MT54 series.
- Capable of working under pressure and adapting to changing volumes.
- Flexibility to work APAC and late APAC shifts (as early as 6am to 11am start).
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Experience in global or local custody operations.
- Experience driving projects and initiatives.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite.
- Proven ability to maintain accuracy and quality under pressure.
- Flexibility with shift timings as required.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred.
