As a Third Party Market Data Product Manager within our Client Platform Team, you will be responsible for setting and improving our organizational objectives, and ensuring their consistent accomplishment.You will define data quality rules, analyze business changes, and lead the onboarding of new third-party data sets. You will collaborate with vendors and technology teams, run data profiling, resolve issues, and ensure robust governance and reporting.

Job Responsibilities

  • Define new data quality rules in consultation with business stakeholders.
  • Analyze business-driven changes and assess impact on data processes.
  • Lead end-to-end onboarding of new third-party data sets.
  • Run SQL queries to profile data and identify key relationships and health issues.
  • Collaborate with vendors to understand data and resolve issues.
  • Model data relationships across AWM repositories for instruments, prices, and indices.
  • Define data attributes for promotion through AWM data governance.
  • Partner with technology to establish data loads and monitoring processes.
  • Test onboarded data and facilitate consumer testing and feedback.
  • Escalate and manage issue resolution with vendors, technology, or consumers.
  • Maintain project plans, scorecards, and generate monthly data governance reports.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Possess at least 8 years of experience in technology, consulting, or finance industries.
  • Demonstrate solid understanding of financial services, products, and processes.
  • Show familiarity with Index, ESG, Corporate, Funds, or Instrument Analytics.
  • Experience with data from Rimes, Morningstar, Bloomberg, FactSet, MSCI, or Sustainalytics.
  • Manage complex projects across business lines for 3+ years.
  • Exhibit superior analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Analyze data using SQL and Excel proficiently.
  • Proactively identify and manage risks in data projects.
  • Demonstrate strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Prepare and present plans, status, and findings in PowerPoint.
  • Experience in large-scale data analysis, profiling, modeling, and governance.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Experience in functional specifications and process flow mapping.
  • Track record of delivering complex projects without direct resource control.
  • Ability to manage multiple work streams concurrently.
  • Strong interpersonal leadership and influencing skills.
  • Build relationships across global teams.
  • Present key findings succinctly to senior audiences.
  • Adaptability and commitment to team goals.
