You will have the exciting opportunity to shape some of our most strategic relationships-whether through building partnerships or planning new product and market entries as well as assessing strategic investments.
As an Associate in the International Consumer Banking (ICB) Strategy Group, you will play an important role in our consulting team, working closely with senior business stakeholders in the International Consumer, located both in Berlin and London.
You will drive projects focused on developing growth strategies, planning new product and market entries, and assessing strategic investments.
Job Responsibilities:
- Define clear problem statements, develop hypotheses
- Prioritize and carry out relevant analysis
- Derive conclusions and synthesize them into exhibits
- Craft storylines: text verticals and presentations format
- Run meetings (interviews, workshops) to validate proposed solutions or communicate the direction of change
- Coordinate and communicate with various stakeholders through both verbal and written channels
- Monitor, analyze and provide updates about retail financial services trends

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
- Proficiency in English
- Basic knowledge of the retail financial services industry in Germany and / or in other large EU countries
- Prior industry experience, working in a retail financial services provider or consulting (with financial services focus)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience collaborating and communicating with multiple and diverse (seniority, function, location) stakeholders
- Curiosity, willingness to learn about various aspects of retail financial services
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- In-depth understanding of the digital retail financial services industry (e.g. customer needs, competitive landscape, product offering)
- Understanding of the retail bank P&L and balance sheet
- Fluency in German
