Strategic Finance Planning & Analysis - Vice President

Join the Commercial & Investment Bank Finance & Business Management (F&BM) team as a results-driven, strategic, and analytical professional supporting the Wholesale Lending Services (WLS) organization. In this high-impact role, you will ensure senior management has visibility into major initiatives, business metrics, financials, and data insights to achieve strategic objectives. Collaborate with senior leaders across Finance, Product, Operations, Business Management, and Data & Analytics to drive impactful financial planning and analysis.

As a Business Manager Vice President within Wholesale Lending Services, you will lead budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and provide actionable insights to support business decision-making. You will partner with business leaders to drive financial performance, structure complex problems, design management reporting packages, and create executive-level presentations.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy and alignment with strategic goals.
  • Prepare, analyze, and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to senior management.
  • Develop and maintain complex financial models for forecasting, scenario planning, and strategic decision-making.
  • Evaluate investment opportunities and prepare business cases to support capital allocation and strategic initiatives.
  • Conduct detailed variance analysis to explain financial results versus budget, forecast, and prior periods.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders, providing financial guidance and supporting strategic initiatives.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance FP&A efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Perform ad hoc financial analysis to support business decisions, investment evaluations, and special projects.

Required Qualifications, Skills, and Capabilities:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
  • 7 years of progressive experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or related roles.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to senior stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively across functions and build effective business partnerships.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications, Skills, and Capabilities:

  • MBA, CPA, CFA, or similar qualifications.
  • Experience in financial services or prior FP&A experience.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
