Software Engineer [Multiple Positions Available]
DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Responsible for providing application deployment and maintenance support. Develop continuous integration, continuous deployment processes and develop and implement automated Sustained Resilience and Disaster Recovery on application and database servers. Involved in architectural design and planning of on- boarding new regulatory reporting applications. Responsible for working on incident management and problem resolution. Work with the application development team and third-party application owners to develop customized reports and data marts for reporting. Responsible for the technical and functional ownership of the applications and coordinating with build teams for all changes, documentation and functionality handover. Work on assessment for application Risk Management and resolving breaks pertaining to Infrastructure and code. Migrating existing applications and onboarding new apps to Cloud platforms including AWS and Cloud Foundry.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, Biotechnology, Data Analytics, Data Engineering, or related technical field of study plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Application Support analyst, Data Analyst, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, Biotechnology, Data Analytics, Data Engineering, or related technical field of study plus seven (7) years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Application Support analyst, Data Analyst, or related occupation.
Skills Required: This position requires experience with the following: Designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Bamboo to automate build, test, and deployment processes for multiple projects; source control tools including Git, Bitbucket, and SVN to manage version control and streamline collaboration across development teams; Implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles using Puppet, Chef, or Ansible to automate provisioning, configuration, and management of infrastructure components; Developing and maintaining deployment automation scripts; Orchestrating containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes; Building new Microservices (AAAS) to automate manual efforts; Cloud Engineering for Monolith apps to public AWS cloud; java; python; angular js and web content management; refactoring JISI and photon Framework solutions, upgrades and modules; incorporating industry level code scans through tools while build and deploy; Releasing Orchestration tools development and features enabling end to end Automated deployments; Providing solutions to decompose and refactor code artifacts to ensure features are aligned to pre-defined architectural specifications; developing jobs to perform Chaos engineering and Sustained resiliency testing.
