As a Software Engineer III in Asset & Wealth Management, you will design and deliver trusted, market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You will work as a key member of an agile team, carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas to support our business objectives. You'll collaborate with talented colleagues, contribute to a culture of diversity and inclusion, and help drive innovation. Job Responsibilities:
- Execute software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting
- Create secure and high-quality production code and maintain algorithms
- Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications
- Ensure design constraints are met during software code development
- Gather, analyze, and synthesize data to develop visualizations and reporting
- Drive continuous improvement of software applications and systems
- Identify hidden problems and patterns in data to improve coding hygiene and system architecture
- Contribute to software engineering communities of practice and events
- Explore new and emerging technologies

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Proficient in coding in Java (17+) and well versed in Test-Driven Development (TDD)
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts
- Hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
- Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment
- Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages
- Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle
- Solid understanding of agile methodologies, including CI/CD, application resiliency, and security
- Demonstrated knowledge of software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile)
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Familiarity with modern front-end technologies
- Exposure to cloud technologies
