Social Media Associate, J.P. Morgan Wealth Management

As a Social Media Associate, J.P. Morgan Wealth Management within the U.S. Wealth Management (USWM) business of JPMorgan Chase & Co. you will help manage and grow our social presence across key platforms. This role supports day-to-day community management, content calendar execution, and social listening, turning real-time audience and cultural insights into thoughtful, on-brand content opportunities.

Job responsibilities

• Monitor activity across owned channels, earned conversations, competitor activity, and broader industry/consumer discussions.
• Maintain and manage an ongoing social media content calendar across multiple channels; monitor the competitive landscape and help develop strategies to drive audience growth, engagement, and traffic/conversions to brand websites.
• Partner with Legal, Risk, and Controls (LRC) teams to obtain approvals for social content, including press announcements, product launches, thought leadership, and more.
• Write strong short-form social copy aligned to USWM brand voice and wealth management industry language.
• Analyze and track social performance to provide optimization recommendations, inform creative strategy, and establish benchmarks by channel.
• Build, refine, and maintain social listening queries and dashboards to monitor conversations about wealth management, partnerships, competitors, and breaking news.
• Collaborate across communications, marketing, and content teams to cross-promote campaigns and initiatives.
• Pitch and execute content ideas tailored to each channel.
• Proactively identify cultural moments and amplification opportunities relevant to USWM.
• Support social, video, and content teams with timely execution, including copywriting, approvals, reporting, and calendar management.
• Demonstrate strong understanding of USWM business goals, priorities, and objectives.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

• 3+ years of experience in social media; Bachelor's degree
• Proven track record in developing social-first content and concepts from ideation to execution.

• Deep understanding of organic trends and capabilities on platforms like Instagram, X, LinkedIn, YouTube, and TikTok; Experience with social media publishing, reporting, and listening tools (e.g., Sprinklr, Zignal)
• Analytical, test-and-learn mindset; comfortable using data to identify trends and growth opportunities
• Strong short-form copywriting skills for social and digital assets; excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Experience managing editorial calendars and coordinating content across multiple channels
• Highly organized, creative, and collaborative; able to build relationships across teams and business lines
• Confident idea-pitcher and proactive problem solver; strong project and time-management skills; able to prioritize across competing deadlines
• Team player eager to learn, contribute, and make an impact
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
