Senior Product Delivery Associate

As a Senior Product Delivery Associate within the Commercial & Investment Bank Workflow Services Aurora Team, you are trusted in enabling the delivery of products that are both stable and scalable. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, build key relationships, and enable the product to continuously deliver value. You will be responsible for leadership in the execution of workflow product support initiatives including user support through partner application implementations, production issues, involvement in testing automation efforts, and release oversight. You will be a key point of contact between the technology group and business stakeholders. You will also ensure execution of the various projects under their remit. You should have a solid understanding of project management and issue coordination.

Job responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Product Delivery Manager to execute key delivery tasks and identify ways to boost efficiencies
  • Support the completion of change management activities across functional partners and monitor adherence to the firm's risk, controls, compliance, and regulatory requirements
  • Escalate blockers and other impediments to the Product Delivery Manager to manage dependencies and ensure adequate resources
  • Contribute as part of a team of subject matter experts by replicating complex scenarios, evaluating operational impact, designing solutions, and working with technology teams to identify and test resolution plans
  • Advocate for our users by providing support during production incidents and proactively communicating status
  • Direct the execution of release management activities within the Agile / Scrum model
  • Prepare and analyze metrics to contribute to continuous improvement and control
  • Participate in agile ceremonies (refinement, demos, retros, etc.) in partnership with other team members supporting the product
  • Build collaborative partnerships with Product Owners and teams across technology and the user community, ensuring completeness of business requirements, clear understanding of operational impacts, and resolution of operational issues related to the requirements
  • Adapt to a rapidly changing business and technical environment, demonstrating steadily increasing business and application expertise
  • Follow pre-determined guidelines to ensure project artifacts are completed and posted in accordance with prescribed deadlines, and maintain documentation for each functional area with functionality changes after release

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 3+ years of experience in either a relevant domain area, product management, project management, testing automation, or equivalent expertise
  • Analytical mind, service-minded approach and keen to resolve problems
  • Demonstrated project management experience
  • Able to operate independently, follow tight deadlines, and support concurrent projects
  • Experience in Agile methodology with Certified Scrum Master or Certified Product Owner a plus
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, including MS Word, MS Excel, MS Visio and MS PowerPoint is a must. Basic proficiency in JIRA
  • Exposure to product lifecycle activities including discovery and requirements definition

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Developed knowledge of the product development life cycle
  • Experience within large Financial Services firms preferred
  • Experience with implementing and using workflow tools
  • Operational experience a plus
  • University degree, or specialized training or equivalent work experience
