Senior Product Associate IRD Product & Transformation

As a Senior Product Associate Instrument Reference Data (IRD) Product & Transformation within Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB), you will contribute to the team by leveraging your expertise in product development and optimization, supported by user research and customer feedback to innovate and improve products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams in shaping the future of our products and ensuring ongoing success is a crucial key.

Job responsibilities

  • Partners with the Product Manager to identify new product opportunities that reflect the needs of our data consumers
  • Considers and plans for upstream and downstream implications of new product features on the overall product experience
  • Writes the requirements, epics, and user stories to support product development
  • Analyze data to explain differences and inform stakeholders during requirements gathering and execution
  • Support planning and project management for the adoption of strategic platforms across Risk and Compliance business lines, collaborating with Technology and Operations teams
  • Build and maintain relationships with business and operational stakeholders across functional areas
  • Gather, analyze, specify, and test requirements within an Agile development framework, ensuring translation into effective technical solutions
  • Oversee end-to-end delivery of business requirements, including project planning, milestone tracking, and resource prioritization
  • Identify and define process improvement opportunities
  • Maintain and prioritize a backlog of requests to align resources with top priorities

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 3+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
  • Proficient knowledge of the product development life cycle
  • Experience in product life cycle activities including discovery and requirements definition
  • Developing knowledge of data analytics and data literacy

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience with Equities Instrument Reference data
  • Basic SQL query writing skills, frequently used for data analysis
  • Prior experience in product management
