As a Senior Product Associate in Consumer and Community Banking Home Lending Infrastructure, you contribute to the team by leveraging your expertise in product development and optimization to make a significant impact, supported by user research and customer feedback to fuel the creation of innovative products and continuously improve existing offerings. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and play a crucial role in shaping the future of our products and ongoing success.
The CCB Home Lending Infrastructure Team is part of the Home Lending Transformation and Product Organization, which is responsible for delivery of technology initiatives. You will work in a team driven environment as a member of a larger agile delivery team, with a defined sprint schedule to provide new and enhanced technology features. With a strong foundational knowledge of business systems and processes, this role will help drive features for the Product Management Area Product Owner. The role will report to the Product Manager with responsibility for the following key functions:
Job Responsibilities:
- Document new and modified functionality for vested stakeholders such as Sales, Underwriting, Support, Quality, Servicing, and Risk.
- Contribute to the strategic development, ongoing refinement, and execution of the product roadmap.
- Facilitate and drive customer-focused solutions across the organization in direct support of the Product Manager, collaborating with legal, risk, operations, design, and technology teams to define, prioritize, deliver, and align solutions to the product vision and roadmap.
- Write epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria, and participate in all agile events as a member of the product group.
- Serve as a subject matter expert regarding major business processes and supporting applications or capabilities.
- Replicate business processes in test environments to collaborate with product and feature team members on tactical and strategic solutions.
- Partner with the Product Manager to identify new product opportunities that reflect customer and market needs through user research and discovery.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Possess 3+ years of relevant experience.
- Demonstrate prior experience as a Business Analyst or Project Manager.
- Exhibit strong skills in detailed business analysis and requirements documentation, including writing epics and user stories.
- Bring experience in integration, quality assurance, and/or acceptance testing.
- Offer familiarity with system integrations and data mapping.
- Have hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum methodology and proficiency in Jira or other technology process management systems.
- Maintain functional knowledge of mortgage documents.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Operate in a collaborative and cooperative environment, leveraging strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with colleagues across business and technology teams.
- Communicate clearly and concisely, exhibiting excellent oral and written communication skills with a preference for backgrounds in mortgage operations, sales, risk, or underwriting
- Solve problems logically and analytically, synthesizing data and project outcomes while effectively eliciting and defining problem statements.
- Pay meticulous attention to detail and work independently, utilizing strong time management skills to deliver results with urgency.
- Focus on client and customer needs, conducting research and analysis to inform decision-making and a technical background is considered a plus
- Demonstrate proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, including PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, and related applications.
