Senior Media Manager (all genders)

As Senior Media Manager, you will introduce Chase to customers in Germany through effective, culturally attuned media. You will steward our local paid media approach, working with our media agency, internal channel owners, and the central media team to plan and deliver multi‑channel campaigns that build awareness and consideration. You will own above‑the‑line media (ATL) in Germany and integrate closely with performance, so our media works as one. This is an individual contributor role reporting to the Vice President, Brand & Campaigns, with an indirect line to the central media organization.

Job Responsibilities

  • Translate annual business and marketing strategies into a locally relevant paid media and channel approach for Germany, aligned to central guidelines and best practices.
  • Plan and execute multi‑channel media campaigns at scale with our media agency, ensuring integration with performance activity.
  • Manage the agency day to day to ensure quality, accuracy, and timely delivery.
  • Partner with internal channel owners to align plans, share insights, and coordinate end‑to‑end execution.
  • Build deep audience and cultural understanding for Germany and select the channels our audiences are watching.
  • Monitor the German media market and trends; test and learn new channels and formats where appropriate.
  • Review impact and results regularly; recommend optimization and update media plans based on insight.
  • Work closely with the Campaigns team so channel requirements are reflected in briefs and assets which are delivered on time.
  • Act as the media subject matter expert in Germany for the marketing team and a trusted local voice into the central media organization.
  • Ensure brand safety, suitability, and governance standards; apply central media policies across planning, approvals, and execution.
  • Drive effective project management so plans and placements go live on time and to quality.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • 5+ years' experience planning and executing national, multi‑channel media campaigns in Germany at scale.
  • Broad experience across ATL, including offline channels such as TV, OOH, print, and audio/radio, and digital channels such as BVOD/CTV/SVOD/VOD and digital audio.
  • Proven track record coordinating media agencies and internal stakeholders to deliver multi‑channel plans at scale.
  • High data literacy and comfort interpreting insights to inform allocation and optimization.
  • Strong project management discipline; able to manage multiple plans, stakeholders, and timelines simultaneously.
  • Calm under pressure with a positive, solution‑oriented attitude and proactive communication.
  • Curiosity for the German media landscape, audiences, formats, and emerging trends.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and collaboration skills; confident presenting plans and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
  • Fluent communication skills in German and English (written and verbal).

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Experience on both agency and client sides is an advantage.
  • University degree with a marketing focus (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience in multinational organizations with global media teams.
