As the Senior Leader - Test Automation Team at JPMorgan Chase, you will set the vision, strategy, and execution for test automation across the organization. You will lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team, overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of automation frameworks and tools. Your role includes championing AI-driven testing solutions, collaborating with engineering, product, and business stakeholders, and integrating industry best practices. You will manage budgets, resources, and vendor relationships, ensuring alignment with business goals. Your expertise will drive innovation, efficiency, and quality in software delivery.

  • Champion the adoption of AI-driven testing solutions, including intelligent test generation and predictive analytics
  • Collaborate with engineering, product, and business stakeholders to ensure quality standards
  • Monitor industry trends and integrate best practices in automation and AI
  • Manage budgets, resources, and vendor relationships
  • Define and track success metrics and KPIs for automation and quality
  • Drive process improvements and automation maturity across the organization

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Deep expertise in test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Appium, Playwright)
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, or C#
  • Experience integrating automation with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps)
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms and containerization (AWS, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Knowledge of AI-powered testing tools and AI-based defect prediction
  • Experience with API testing (REST, SOAP, Postman, RestAssured)
  • Understanding of performance and security testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner)
  • Strong data analytics skills to interpret test data, metrics, and dashboards
  • Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience managing budgets, resources, and vendor relationships
