As a Senior Lead Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Technology and Engineering division, you will join a high-impact engineering team where your expertise will promote innovation, career growth, and the development of market-leading technology products. You will design, build, and deliver secure, scalable AI/ML solutions that promote significant business impact, collaborating across disciplines and championing engineering best practices.
Job responsibilities
- Spearhead the creation of intelligent AI/ML systems using agentic frameworks for autonomous decision-making
- Engineer and scale machine learning pipelines with Python and state-of-the-art libraries
- Build and maintain high-throughput RESTful APIs for AI/ML services, prioritizing speed and security
- Orchestrate AI/ML workloads on Kubernetes for seamless scaling and resource management
- Establish automated CI/CD pipelines for end-to-end ML lifecycle management in cloud-native environments
- Guide and mentor engineering talent, fostering excellence in AI/ML development practices
- Champion firmwide engineering standards and contribute to the broader technical community

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Formal training or certification on Engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience
- Hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
- Advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages
- Advanced knowledge of software applications and technical processes in technical disciplines such as cloud, artificial intelligence, or machine learning
- Ability to tackle design and functionality problems independently
- Practical cloud-native experience
- Experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Familiarity with modern front-end technologies
- Exposure to cloud technologies
