As a Senior Lead Infrastructure Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Chief Technology Office organization, you will demonstrate extensive expertise in software, applications, and technical processes across various technical disciplines. You will also specialize in a particular domain within infrastructure engineering to lead programs or initiatives that encompass multiple technologies and applications.
Job responsibilities
- Applies deep technical expertise and problem-solving methodologies focused on analyzing complex data and systems, anticipating issues, and finding ways to mitigate risk
- Works with customer application owners to architect and implement observability platform strategies required to provide deep insights into application health, helping them to modernize their organizational and technology monitoring processes
- Implements and manages large scale Application Performance Monitoring (Dynatrace) platforms that have a global presence, while ensuring its reliability, scalability, and security
- Considers upstream/downstream system or technical implications and advises on mitigation actions
- Be responsible for infrastructure engineering in accordance with business requirements
- Drives results and implements multiple complex programs
- Drives thought leadership within the product line
- Executes work according to compliance standards, risk and security, and business objectives
- Advises junior engineers and technologists

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Formal training or certification on Infrastructure Engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience
- Knowledge of one or more areas of infrastructure engineering such as hardware, networking terminology, infrastructure engineering, load balancers, databases, storage engineering, deployment practices, integration, automation, scaling, resilience, or performance assessments
- Proven experience in Application Performance Monitoring and Log Analytics applications
- Expertise in infrastructure technology such as Terraform
- Proven experience with AWS deployments, deployment best practices, and AWS Certified Architect
- Expertise in comprehensive hybrid observability solutions
- Expertise in Linux and Windows operating systems
- Deep technical knowledge across multiple domains
- Deep knowledge of cloud infrastructure and multiple cloud technologies with the ability to operate in and migrate across public and private clouds
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Experience with Dynatrace
- Experience in managing Risk, Audit, and Resiliency at the product level
- Exposure to managing budgets
