Senior Credit Review Associate - Credit Review Practices

As the Senior Credit Review Associate for the Credit Review Practices team, you will be responsible for supporting and advancing the Credit Review department's technology and MIS reporting initiatives. You will play a key role in supporting project demand and prioritization, ensuring initiatives align with business objectives, data risk management principles and strategic goals. You will assist in evaluating business requirements, contribute to new system implementations and enhancements to existing technology tools and help drive projects related to infrastructure upgrades, MIS reporting and process improvements.

Collaboration is central to this role, as you will work closely with the Credit Review teams, technology teams and Credit Risk to help set project direction and agree on timelines and priorities.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide project/program management support to the Credit Review department by managing, analyzing and tracking project status and backlogs from initiation to delivery in line with due dates, as well as by partnering with stakeholders to escalate and resolve project risks, issues and dependencies and proactively create mitigation plans to address future issues.
  • Collaborate with Corporate Technology to lead and coordinate technology development projects by collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely project delivery and alignment with stakeholder and business objectives in compliance with the firm's data risk management framework, using Agile methodologies.
  • Maintain program roadmaps and a book of work inclusive of project or release scope, critical milestones, test strategy and execution and implementation and change management.
  • Help document requirements, process flows and best practices for Credit Review technology solutions.
  • Support the development of high-quality presentations and materials for and provide regular status updates to senior management.
  • Design, develop, and maintain regular Credit Review, risk, regulatory and senior stakeholder reporting and identify and ensure accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of all MIS reports and drive automation opportunities to uplift and transform reporting to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
  • Establish strong working relationships with Corporate Technology, Credit Review Data Analytics & Solutions and Credit Risk Reporting stakeholders while maintaining independence.
  • Fostering a culture of continuous improvement, methodology transformation and technology innovation within the Credit Review function.
  • Manage, maintain, develop, transform and serve as the lead publisher and content manager for the Credit Review intranet homepage and sub-pages.
  • Participate in regulatory reporting and meetings, as needed.
  • Complete special projects and research as assigned by the Credit Review leadership team.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Experienced program management, change management, technology development or data risk professional with minimum 5 years of experience.
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Risk, or a related discipline.
  • Strong analytical and project management skills, with demonstrated ability to manage multiple initiatives proactively from inception through completion to ensure successful and timely execution of projects with limited supervision with organization, creativity, refined judgment and discretion, and the ability to apply a solution-oriented approach to complex business challenges.
  • Ability to distill complex requirements into actionable implementation tasks.
  • Strong stakeholder management and negotiation capabilities, with a demonstrated ability to manage expectations, resolve conflicts, and drive consensus across diverse teams.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage, influence and present effectively to stakeholders, including senior management.
  • Proven ability and desire to learn quickly, be adaptable and think strategically.
  • Strong knowledge of MS tools such as PowerPoint, Visio, SharePoint, Excel, Project.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Background in credit risk management
  • Experience in data visualization software including Tableau or Alteryx
  • PMP
