The Equity Derivatives Group Deal Review Team plays a critical role in ensuring that all Over The Counter (OTC) and securitized trades are accurately booked and risk-managed, aligning with the legal documentation issued to counterparties.

  • Understanding the fundamentals of equity derivatives products and the associated legal documentation requirements.
  • Performing deal reviews to ensure compliance with business standards and timely escalation of discrepancies.
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to drive efficiency and improve control infrastructure.
  • Analyzing management information and reporting trends to senior management.
  • Participating in system enhancements and new business initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct deal reviews within the service level agreements (SLA), ensuring accurate comparisons between term sheets, risk management systems, and legal confirmations.
  • Drive efficiency in current processes by identifying incorrect booking practices and educating the middle office on their impact.
  • Build and sustain strong working relationships with internal lines of business, including Middle Office, Front Office, and internal counterparts.
  • Investigate and resolve issues in a timely manner, preparing weekly management information systems (MIS) and monthly control packs for senior management.
  • Identify control gaps and suggest improvement ideas for better efficiency and effectiveness.

What do we ask for this position?

  • Graduate with 6+ years of experience, with a strong understanding of Equity Derivatives products.
  • Advanced English required.
  • Candidate must be self-motivated with a curious mindset open to improve and look for ways to resolve daily issues.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to handle complex product coverage in a fast-paced trading environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and a high level of computer literacy.
