Senior Associate Data Use Risk

Are you passionate about data governance and risk management? Join our Firmwide Chief Data Office and play a key role in supporting data use risk initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and integrating advanced technologies to modernize our data governance processes.

As a Senior Associate Data Use Risk within the Firmwide Chief Data Office (CDO), you will be responsible for supporting the Firmwide initiatives related to Data Use Risk. The Data Governance Team within the Firmwide CDO is responsible for working with LOB/CFs, Compliance, Controls, Legal and Technology to ensure that the Firm's Data Risks are managed in line with Legal, Compliance and Business requirements.

Job responsibilities:

  • Support the development and implementation of the Firmwide Data Use strategy, including AI/ML requirements, by contributing insights, requirements, and recommendations.
  • Maintain and enhance standards and procedures related to Firmwide Data Use, ensuring alignment with best practices and business needs.
  • Develop and monitor risk or performance metrics to facilitate oversight and reporting.
  • Collaborate with technology & product teams to define, prioritize, and deliver program requirements and enhancements for Data Use tools and metrics; actively participate in project milestones, phases, and action items.
  • Integrate Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and emerging technologies to identify, design, and implement innovative solutions that modernize and streamline data governance processes and product features.
  • Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams, translating business needs into clear product requirements and user stories.
  • Partner with Legal and Compliance to help ensure the Firmwide Data Use strategy meets regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate and support execution activities for the Data Use Program, collaborating with Technology and LOB/CF Chief Data Officer teams.
  • Prepare and deliver project update materials and presentations for management; communicate project progress, product roadmap, and recommendations as needed.
  • Develop and update training materials, including online courses, to support Data Use education and tooling.
  • Support regulatory, compliance, and audit requests, ensuring timely and accurate responses.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • 3+ years of relevant experience in program or project management, product ownership, or business analysis within a Risk Management or Data environment.
  • Experience with Agile Development methodologies and partnering with Development teams to deliver tools and solutions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to clearly articulate complex ideas, requirements, and solutions to management, stakeholders, and technology teams.
  • Experience applying Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), or similar advanced technologies to drive improvements in data governance, product development, or business process automation within a technology-driven environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong attention to detail and discipline.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to gather and interpret user feedback and data to inform product decisions.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Communications, Management Information Systems, or other related area.
