Senior Analytics Solutions Associate

As a Senior Analytics Solutions Associate in the Strategy, Innovation & Governance Data team within Payments Operations, you will translate business needs into data insights, visualizations, and operational reporting that support day-to-day execution and leadership decisions. You will work with partners across product and operations to design, build, test, and deliver high-quality dashboards and analyses. You will help us strengthen data standards, reduce operational risk, and improve processes through root-cause analysis and continuous improvement.
Job responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements and convert them into clear analytical deliverables
- Design and build dashboards, visualizations, and operational reporting to support management decisions
- Develop and validate data queries, datasets, and logic across multiple data sources
- Test and deliver high-quality insights using defined team standards and controls
- Partner with Product Owners and Operations to refine requirements and implement new capabilities
- Interpret operational performance trends and summarize findings for stakeholders at multiple levels
- Perform ad hoc analyses to answer time-sensitive business questions
- Identify data quality issues and recommend corrective actions
- Drive continuous improvement through root-cause analysis and process optimization
- Contribute within an agile delivery model to plan, prioritize, and execute work
- Learn and apply new tools and techniques as the team's capabilities evolve
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field, or equivalent education and/or relevant business experience
- Minimum 7 years of experience in business analysis or business application design and development
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience using SQL and at least one programming/analytics tool such as Python or Alteryx in a professional setting
- Working knowledge of banking operations, ideally including payment processing
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (including Excel and PowerPoint)
- Strong understanding of relational database concepts and data modeling fundamentals
- Experience building business intelligence reporting and visualizations using tools such as Tableau or Business Objects
- Familiarity with agile delivery and/or the software development life cycle
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to translate requirements between business and technology teams
- Demonstrated ability to synthesize analysis into clear, audience-appropriate takeaways and visuals
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently under deadlines, and collaborate effectively across teams
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Experience querying enterprise-scale data warehouses and working with large, complex datasets
- Experience creating automated analytics or reporting solutions to reduce manual effort
- Experience using Alteryx to prepare, blend, and analyze datasets
- Experience building dashboards in Tableau for operational performance management
- Experience producing statistical summaries and exploratory analysis to support decision-making
- Demonstrated strength in stakeholder management across operations, product, and technology partners
- Curiosity and initiative to continuously improve processes, controls, and data quality
