Securities Based Lending Analyst - Latin America

Job Summary
As a Securities Based Lending Analyst in the Latin America Securities Based Lending team, you will partner with lenders to manage credit requests and portfolios, ensuring efficient and accurate processing of secured loans and related transactions.

Job Responsibilities

  • Partner with lenders throughout the lifecycle of credit requests and portfolio management
  • Prepare client analysis prior to underwriting, including credit and collateral review
  • Generate collateral analysis and support grading and pricing of loans
  • Review lines of credit annually and recommend renewals or modifications
  • Analyze client data across multiple systems for preliminary credit review
  • Review loan documentation for accuracy and assist with preparation as needed
  • Ensure documentation complies with federal and local regulations
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external clients
  • Support delivery of loan documentation to clients
  • Contribute to process improvements within the team
  • Maintain high standards of client service and operational excellence

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in finance or related field
  • Proficiency in Spanish or Portuguese and English
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Working knowledge of financial markets and asset vehicles (Mutual Funds, Equities, Fixed Income, Municipals)
  • Interest in structuring credit transactions
  • Ability to interact effectively with stakeholders and clients
  • Ability to learn about financial derivatives, investments, and wealth advisory
  • Ability to complete projects with limited supervision
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Experience in credit analysis or lending operations
  • Familiarity with Latin America financial regulations
  • Advanced Excel or data analysis skills
  • Prior experience in Wealth Management Operations
  • Knowledge of loan documentation processes
  • Experience supporting high-volume transaction environments
  • Demonstrated commitment to client service excellence
