Sales and Marketing - Markets Sales Assistant - Analyst

As a Markets Sales Assistant, you run front‑to‑back sales operations, coordinating trade execution and post‑trade activities with Middle Office and Operations to ensure accuracy, control, and strong client outcomes. You build production‑grade automation in Excel/VBA and streamline data gathering from internal systems to improve efficiency. You manage sales blotters, trade records, and management reporting, resolving post‑trade issues in partnership with Sales, Trading, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Technology, and more. You handle ad‑hoc desk and client requests with sound judgment, thriving in a fast‑paced environment where analytical rigor, detail orientation, and collaboration are essential.
Job Responsibilities:
- Handle, operate, and follow up on end-to-end transaction process to ensure smooth front to back workflows and accuracy of all entries, ensure internal controls are followed; check all risk and control measures (incl. not limit to handling KYC process, transaction execution, coordinate with operations to ensure smooth settlement; close/amend the deal; book the trade; oversee post-trade activities)
- Collaborate with Middle Office and Operations to ensure post trade client services are taken care of.
- Manage internal sales blotters, trade records, as well as prepare management reporting.
- Provide timely support for internal queries and solve post-trade related issues.
- Work closely with various internal parties i.e. Sales, Trading, Business Managers, RMs, Operation, IT, Risk, Client Services, Compliance, Legal etc.
- Assist on ad-hoc requests and handle queries in a timely manner, work as partnership while consistently keeping an independent mindset.
- Help on ad-hoc requests from the Sales Desk and Clients
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Advanced Excel skills including Power Query, Pivot Tables, dynamic arrays, complex lookups, and pivot automation; expert‑level VBA for production‑grade automation.
- Market and derivatives knowledge aligned with front‑to‑back sales and post‑trade processes.
- Exceptional attention to detail with strong ethics and integrity.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to partner across diverse internal teams.
- Ability to perform under pressure in time‑sensitive market environments.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem‑solving orientation.
- Strong self‑organization with proven multi‑tasking capacity.
- Python proficiency is a plus to complement automation and data workflows.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Securities Specialist License or Senior Securities Specialist License (高業或普業).
- Six months of experience related to derivatives or at least 60 hours of courses from domestic financial training institutes in financial derivatives or risk management, with certificates of completion (符合衍生性商品從業人員資格).
