Research Specialist- Executive Search AWM

As a Research Specialist- Executive Search in Asset Management, you will ensure your clients are best positioned to attract, source and recruit top talent, both internally and externally. Your primary responsibilities include staffing the business with quality hires, providing strategic talent acquisition solutions and proactive pipelining for future needs. As a segment subject matter expert, you will manage the end to end recruitment lifecycle for roles within your segment.
Job Responsibilities
- Proactively identify and manage talent pools, acting as a market specialist.
- Source and pipeline qualified candidates using diverse channels, collaborating with sourcing partners as needed.
- Screen, interview, and present suitable candidates to hiring teams.
- Participate in intake calls with hiring managers, advising on recruitment processes.
- Coordinate interview scheduling with relevant teams.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience through timely and frequent communication.
- Serve as a subject matter expert, influencing decisions and managing expectations of both hiring managers and candidates.
- Update senior client groups on recruiting activities and handle escalations effectively.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Minimum 3 years' experience in professional services or executive search, with a research focus.
- Proven ability to conduct detailed business, industry, or market analysis.
- Strong work ethic, able to manage multiple stakeholders and projects.
- Detail-oriented, intellectually curious, and skilled in analytical research.
- Experienced in sourcing and building talent pipelines.
- Effective relationship builder, providing excellent candidate experiences.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Capable of presenting recruiting activities to senior clients.
- Skilled in managing client expectations and handling escalations.
- Excellent prioritization, organization, and multitasking abilities.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Ideally has experience in financial services industry
- Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Adobe skills
