Quant Analytics Associate Senior - Regulatory Operations

As a Quant Analytics Associate Senior within Consumer and Community Banking (CCB) Regulatory Operations team, you will lead the development and publication of executive and regulatory reporting products by synthesizing information from multiple systems and partners. You will monitor complaints and business data to identify emerging issues, trends, and opportunities, and communicate analytics-driven insights to senior leaders. You will create analytics and reporting products that enable strategic and operational decisions, while ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and strong process controls. You will also support ad hoc analyses and continuous improvement initiatives, including innovation and automation opportunities.
Job responsibilities
- Lead the development, authoring, and publication of scheduled executive and regulatory reporting products by gathering and synthesizing inputs from multiple systems and partners.
- Analyze and monitor complaint and business data to identify emerging issues, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
- Translate complex data into actionable reporting and analytics products that inform strategic and operational decisions.
- Build and maintain awareness of key initiatives, regulatory requirements, and changes impacting consumers and the business.
- Produce and lead ad hoc reporting and analyses for management audiences, including executive and regulatory stakeholders.
- Oversee key reporting processes, controls, and documentation to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
- Drive process improvement projects, including innovation and automation use cases, and troubleshoot operational issues.
- Review and oversee change requests for critical program data elements and system-maintained reference tables.
- Create and maintain procedures, documentation, and control processes for analytics and reporting products.
- Collaborate with partners to identify root causes of complaints and drive improvements in complaint handling processes.
- Deliver executive-level presentations that clearly communicate analytics and reporting insights to senior leadership.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 5+ years of reporting and analytics experience
- Demonstrated ability to deliver accurate reporting and objective business analysis.
- Proven ability to analyze large datasets and synthesize insights from multiple sources.
- Advanced proficiency with Tableau, Databricks, Alteryx, SQL, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Advanced SQL skills for querying, analyzing, and managing large datasets
- Strong ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for executive audiences.
- Exceptional executive-level communication and presentation skills, including written storytelling.
- Ability to conduct background research, validate findings, and apply sound judgment to analytics outputs.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple concurrent deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-directed, results-driven approach with the ability to work with limited supervision.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Bachelor's degree in a technical or business discipline.
- Prior experience managing or analyzing customer experience and/or complaints data.
- Experience supporting regulatory-facing reporting or governance routines.
- Experience designing and implementing process controls and documentation for reporting products.
- Experience leading process improvement initiatives and analytics automation.
- Experience in a financial services and/or regulatory environment.
