Markets Transformation's mission is to drive impactful transformation across CIB Market Operations in a collaborative, disciplined and commercial manner.
The Global Fixed Income, Credit, SPG, Commodities, Rates, Emerging Markets and Fixed Income Financing (FICC) Transformation team is a dynamic, data-driven, global and diverse organization with presence across North America, Latam, UK, India and SE Asia. It covers programs and projects for all post-execution, including product-aligned Middle Offices and across the full lifecycle of a trade.
The team is responsible for:
- Regulatory change
- Target Operating Model / optimization
- Strategic programs
- Driving digital tools delivery
- New business and business expansion delivery
- Continuous business improvement
- Middleware / vendor strategy
- Testing management
The team partners extensively with internal stakeholders including Front Office Sales and Trading Desks, Compliance, Legal, Finance, Regulatory and Controls teams, and plays a significant role in our overall client strategy.
Our Tech agenda develops and delivers a wide range of offerings to support our businesses, offering both firmwide solutions and bespoke business applications. Retirement of legacy platforms and acceleration of digital tools (e.g., data visualization, robotics, automated analytics) requires a strong Transformation team to drive delivery and ensure successful outcomes for Operations.
The Transformation team is at the forefront of driving end-to-end regulatory delivery programs, managing and controlling significant changes taking place across the department and the industry globally.
Role Summary (Buenos Aires)
An opportunity exists for a highly motivated individual to support and drive FICC Transformation delivery from Buenos Aires across multiple large and complex projects/programs. The role requires strong project management and delivery skills, the ability to coordinate solutions to complex issues, and excellent communication.
The successful candidate will work with business stakeholders to deliver projects aligned to key priorities, define expected project outcomes, and coordinate with technology partners to deliver solutions. The role partners extensively with the Business, Middle/Back Office, Legal & Compliance, Audit, Technology and Controls teams. The candidate should be able to work independently, while contributing as part of a wider cross-location team. This role provides extensive exposure across the Markets business with the opportunity to creatively problem-solve at scale.

Main Responsibilities
- Apply project management and change management expertise to drive transformation initiatives across global lines of business.
- Partner closely with Technology teams to drive issue resolution and delivery execution.
- Collaborate with Business & Operations stakeholders to manage information flow and delivery of key milestones.
- Lead working group meetings: set agendas, prepare materials, document minutes, track issues, and ensure clear ownership of action items.
- Communicate regular written and verbal updates to stakeholders; implement and maintain project trackers and weekly scorecards.
- Drive effective risk management, including timely escalation where appropriate.
Key Skills and Requirements
- Proven project management experience in the financial industry, utilizing recognized delivery frameworks (including OKR frameworks).
- Experience building strong relationships quickly, leveraging them to lead and influence across multiple stakeholder groups.
- Demonstrable track record delivering multiple complex workstreams to firm deadlines.
- Ability to lead under pressure across regions, time zones, businesses and functions; strong communication, negotiation, influencing and relationship management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong attention to detail, and ability to communicate complex issues succinctly using fit-for-purpose presentation materials.
- Ability to adapt quickly to evolving internal/external factors that influence outcomes.
- Strong prioritization and organizational skills.
- Confidence to challenge business and technology requirements/solutions constructively.
- Prior investment banking experience preferred, ideally in Middle Office / Projects roles with derivatives and fixed income products.
