Program Manager
JPMorgan Chase & Co. is continuing to expand its consumer business through its new digital bank in Europe. International Consumer Finance & Business Management is seeking a financial services professional to join the team as a Program Manager.
As a Program Manager at JP Morgan Chase within International Consumer Banking, you will manage supplier payments, serve as the main contact for Purchase Orders, and ensure invoice approval and payment. You will track payments, resolve complex payment issues, and handle supplier setup and invoice reconciliation.
We are looking to hire a confident, positive, and enthusiastic professional for a growing and dynamic business. The candidate will need to be flexible in their outlook and able to manage and adapt to a rapidly changing landscape.
Job responsibilities
- Oversee across 600+ different vendors across locations, legal entities, and currencies.
- Direct ability and supervise delivery managers and suppliers throughout the onboarding, payment process to fruition. Establish and manage relationships with the delivery managers to assist with the efficiency of the process.
- Focus to detail is essential within this role to become the key contact for all purchase order setups which includes cross checking details with the financial controllers and the amounts with Global Supplier Services (GSS).
- Solve problem and prioritize when dealing with billing exceptions.
- Liaise with vendors on any issues arising in a professional manner and partnering with GSS to ensure timely resolution and payment.
- Apply controls and diligence within the process, ensuring the correct senior management are present on approval flows for purchase orders as required by the process.
- Engage in team projects as well as own individual projects, utilizing strong communication skills to solve complex business challenges
- Work on outstanding payment accruals with Financial Controller/Delivery Managers / Suppliers to reconcile POs against Invoices
- Commit to continuous improvement, staying updated on procurement best practices and industry trends.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Experience in a related business function in finance
- Must have good verbal and written communication in English
- Data analysis with high level of Excel proficiency
- Take initiative and maintain a positive 'can-do' attitude in a high-performance, fast-paced professional environment, while managing multiple projects under tight deadlines
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, building strong relationships with stakeholders
- Effective problem solver and ability to identify and implement best-practice operations and solutions
- Self-motivated, strategic mindset and tenacious with the ability to work independently
- Able to and thrives when working under pressure
- Understanding of the end-to-end procurement / payment lifecycle and related best practices.
- Hands-on experience with Ariba, Compass or equivalents
- Understanding of different methods of Purchase Order processing
