As a Product Solutions Vice President in Merchant Services, you are an expert at the intersection of products and the sales cycle. You leverage your deep understanding of customer needs to craft complex solutions, partner with Product and Sales to identify and capture market opportunities, and create new ways for teams to continuously deliver value to customers.
In this role, you will collaborate across product, technology, and architecture within the payments space, driving customer-centric strategies and business outcomes. You will influence the product development cycle, develop comprehensive solution requirements, and utilize industry-leading tools to support go-to-market initiatives. Your expertise will help shape the future of payments through value-added services and innovative product adoption
Job Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end strategy and roadmap for a smart routing and multi-rail orchestration product in the Merchant Services business

- Design routing decision logic across PIN / PINless debit networks (e.g.,, PULSE, STAR), local methods of payment (e.g., Carte Bancaire, EFTPOS), Visa / Mastercard rails, and emerging alternative rails where applicable
- Build routing strategies that balance merchant preferences, issuer behavior, network rules, regulatory requirements, transaction economics (e.g., interchange, scheme / network fees) and fallback / resiliency needs
- Define product vision, market positioning, success metrics, and business cases tied to approval rate lift, cost savings, and performance
- Serve as a subject matter expert on debit routing, scheme connectivity, network economics, and routing mandates (e.g., Durbin-style requirements where applicable)
- Partner closely with engineering, compliance, risk, operations, and commercial teams to ensure successful execution and launch
- Engage customers and partners to collect feedback, drive adoption, and strengthen JPMorgan's position as a thought leader
- Contribute to broader payment optimization initiatives beyond routing, ensuring a connected solution across capabilities such as authentication, tokenization vault, and authorization optimization
Required Qualifications, Skills, and Capabilities
- 7+ years of experience in payments, with a background in product management, solutions engineering / consulting, payments implementations / integrations, or network / scheme enablement
- Strong understanding of debit payment economics, including interchange mechanics, scheme /network assessments, processing / acquirer cost structures, and how routing impacts merchant cost and provider margin
- Demonstrated experience building or enabling routing / orchestration logic, including cost vs approval rate tradeoffs, network preference logic, and fallback strategies
- Strong ability to translate complex network, scheme, and regulatory requirements into clear product and technical execution
- Proven track record bringing new product concepts from inception through successful commercial launch, including developing customer journeys, personas, and requirements
- Strong customer-facing communication skills and the ability to drive alignment across technical and business stakeholders
- Passion for payments innovation, with a clear point of view on trends shaping the payments optimization landscape
- Show comfort with P&L ownership, setting business objectives, and driving commercial outcomes
