As a Scrum Master in Asset and Wealth Management, you are an integral part of the team that innovates new product offerings and leads the end-to-end product life cycle. As a core leader, you are responsible for acting as the voice of the customer and developing profitable products that provide customer value. Utilizing your deep understanding of how to get a product off the ground, you guide the successful launch of products, gather crucial feedback, and ensure top-tier client experiences. With a strong commitment to scalability, resiliency, and stability, you collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that exceed customer expectations.
Job responsibilities
- Lead two or three squads as a Scrum Master and facilitate ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, ensuring they are productive and focused.
- Drive the Agile evolution strategy and implementation, aligning with 55ip's organizational goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Designers, Engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment on product vision, goals, and priorities.
- Identify and address impediments to team progress, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
- Monitor and report on key agility metrics, providing insights and recommendations to squads during retrospectives.
- Use Agile tools such as Jira and Confluence to track progress and generate Sprint and project reporting.
- Promote a culture of collaboration, transparency, and accountability within the teams and across the organization.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in Agile methodologies, incorporating relevant insights into the organization's Agile practices.
- Champion Agile values and principles, advocating for their adoption and integration into the organization's culture.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification is required.
- Experience in Agile project management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of successfully leading Agile transformations in an organization.
- Strong understanding of Agile frameworks, including Scrum, Kanban, and Lean.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to influence and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically and analytically.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Experience in the Wealth Management and/or Asset Management industry.
- Experience in coaching and mentoring Agile teams.
