Product Manager (all genders) - Daily Banking & Savings

As a Product Manager at JPMorgan Chase, you are an integral part of the team that develops new product offerings and leads the end-to-end product life cycle. As a core leader, you are responsible for developing profitable products that provide customer value. Using your deep understanding of how to get a product off the ground, you guide the successful launch of products, monitor product performance, and ensure top-tier client experiences. With a strong commitment to scalability, resiliency, and stability, you collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products.

By their nature, our people are also solution-oriented, commercially savvy and have a head for fintech. We work on specific products, projects, and markets. Depending on your strengths and interests, you will have the opportunity to move between them. Product Managers own their work end-to-end balancing business, customer, and technical objectives.

Job responsibilities

  • Build and develop products end to end: Be the bridge between various teams - from aligning with proposition teams to supporting and motivating delivery teams with clear vision, prioritization, purpose and escalation paths
  • Lead cross domain discovery and product management efforts in order to find optimal solutions; advocate for the customer's needs while balancing localization requirements and global objectives
  • Work within a broader product team to balance commercial needs with potentially viable solutions within the deposit product domain (current and savings accounts)
  • Drive decisions and facilitate estimation across diverse sets of stakeholders using research, commercial data, regulatory and architectural knowledge; ensure timely delivery at highest quality
  • Build relationships and lead launches across markets- taking responsibility for contributions to our global PnL
  • Establish controls, monitoring, and tooling to support products as adoption scales.
  • Pursue continuous self-driven learning across a variety of areas such as European market norms, new platform implications, and cross opportunities with other products
  • Thrive in dynamic environments and be able to adapt to changes

Required qualifications, capabilities, and/or skills

  • Experience in building and running products in a retail bank or Fintech
  • Experience delivering large, complex digital product initiatives with cross-team dependencies
  • Experience of working with front-end and back-end software engineers- happy to roll sleeves up in order to test and evaluate functionality alongside them
  • Strong communicator who values clear documentation, with a knack for what type of detail different stakeholders need
  • Proficiency in German and English (minimum C1 level).

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience in the area of space of Savings and Daily Banking products such as current account and savings accounts
  • Knowledge of Daily Banking regulations including account switching and Pfändungschutzkonto requirements
