As a Product Director for Infrastructure Platforms AI/ML Emerging Product in Infrastructure Platforms team, you lead innovation through the development of products and features that delight customers. As a leader on the team, you leverage your advanced capabilities to challenge traditional approaches, remove barriers to success, and foster a culture of continuous innovation that helps inspire cross-functional teams create groundbreaking solutions that address customer needs.
This role is essential in our team's mission to develop and deliver innovative, state-of-the-art products and solutions that strategically integrate and leverage AI to unlock business value for the consumers of our products.
Job responsibilities
- Oversees the product roadmap, vision, development, execution, risk management, and business growth targets
- Leads the entire product life cycle through planning, execution, and future development by continuously adapting, developing new products and methodologies, managing risks, and achieving business targets like cost, features, reusability, and reliability to support growth
- Coaches and mentors the product team on best practices, such as solution generation, market research, storyboarding, mind-mapping, prototyping methods, product adoption strategies, and product delivery, enabling them to effectively deliver on objectives
- Owns product performance and is accountable for investing in enhancements to achieve business objectives
- Monitors market trends, conducts competitive analysis, and identifies opportunities for product differentiation
- Establishes and defines metrics that align AI product roadmaps with business value, ensuring accountability and transparency.
- Leads cross-functional teams to ensure product capabilities and features are cohesive and complimentary, delivering a consistent experience for customers
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 8+ years of experience or equivalent expertise delivering products, projects, or technology applications
- Extensive knowledge of the product development life cycle, technical design, and data analytics
- Proven ability to influence the adoption of key product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management
- Experience driving change within organizations and managing stakeholders across multiple functions
- Champion a culture of customer-centricity, collaboration, and continuous improvement within IP product teams. Strong understanding of modern product management practices, such as discovery, design thinking, prototyping, journey mapping, competitive analysis, addressable market segmentation, prioritization, and roadmap development
- Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, and develop others, both individually and at scale. Experience influencing cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders without direct authority
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and storytelling skills, with the ability to make complex concepts clear and actionable. Strong analytical and systems thinking skills, able to connect day-to-day practices to organizational strategy and outcomes. Proven experience in product management, including product lifecycle management from concept to launch. Ability to define product vision, strategy, and roadmap in alignment with business goals. Experience in gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements.
- Strong analytical skills to assess market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape. Understanding of market dynamics and the ability to adapt strategies to changing conditions.
- Experience in managing budgets, resources, and timelines for strategic product development projects.
- Extensive experience in building and managing products for AI/ML platforms. Knowledge of AI/ML algorithms, data structures, and software development practices. Experience in designing and managing complex architectures for AI/ML infrastructure both on-prem and cloud-based solutions.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Recognized thought leader within a related field
- Familiarity with AI technology stack along with current market and industry trends.
- Specialized training or certifications in AI/ML, cloud computing, or product management is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Analytics or a related field; MBA or Master's degree preferred.
- Experience working in technical product management or within infrastructure product domains
