As a Product Delivery Director in Digital and Platform Services you foster enhancements and optimize the way products are delivered to customers. As a leader on the team, you leverage your skillset to transform product delivery and create new ways for teams to continuously deliver value to their customers.
Job responsibilities
- Directs principal activities across the end-to-end product delivery journey including intake, dependency management, release management, product operationalization, delivery feasibility decision-making, and product performance reporting, while highlighting opportunities to improve efficiencies and functional coordination
- Owns the change management framework across functional partners and ensures adherence to the firm's risk, controls, compliance, and regulatory requirements
- Maintains a high level of visibility over product timelines and dependencies while monitoring blockers, ensuring adequate resourcing, and liaising with stakeholders and functional partners
- Coaches and mentors the product delivery team on best practices through collaborative discussions on resource management, dependency management, and deployment techniques to improve efficiencies
- Champions continuous improvement by identifying process optimization opportunities, incorporating best practices, and staying abreast of emerging technologies
- Fosters strong relationships with stakeholders, clients, and cross-functional teams, providing direction and defining decision-making procedures for beneficial outcomes
- Provides regular executive reporting to demonstrate progress across programs, with visibility up to Operating Committee level
- Establishes and oversees governance frameworks to ensure product delivery aligns with organizational standards, regulatory requirements, and strategic objectives
- Manages resources and budget for deliverables, ensuring optimal allocation, tracking expenditures, and proactively addressing variances to meet delivery commitments and financial targets

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Significant experience of delivering products, projects, or technology applications
- Extensive experience leading operational management and change readiness
- Experience in enterprise-wide release and deployment processes and strategies
- Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, technical design, and data analytics
- Significant experience or equivalent expertise in technical program management, leading complex technology projects and programs in large organizations
- Advanced analytical reasoning skills, applying critical thinking and problem-solving techniques to break down business, technical, and operational objectives
- Proven ability in leading through change, managing dependencies, and controlling change in high-pressure, shifting environments
- Advanced expertise in stakeholder management, establishing productive relationships, and driving beneficial outcomes aligned with firm objectives
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Recognized thought leader within a related field
- Experience in financial services or a related industry
- Hands-on experience implementing or supporting post-trade workflows in financial services
