Product Controller Senior Associate - Frosch Travel

Join the Product Controller team within Frosch Travel to partner with Financial Control to ensure accurate and timely P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reporting, and to execute disciplined month‑end close procedures. Frosch Travel is a high‑touch travel agency acquired by JPMorganChase in mid‑2022 as part of the creation of Chase Travel. The business includes approximately 1,500 Independent Travel Agents, W‑2 Travel Agents, and a broad base of operations and accounting professionals. As Frosch continues to integrate operationally and financially, we need a strong accounting and analytical teammate to complement the existing team.

As a Senior Associate in the Product Controller team, you will strengthen controls, deliver high‑quality analysis, and support the integration of Frosch Travel into the Chase Travel operating and financial infrastructure.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist with the month‑end close and full financial statement reporting (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow).
  • Produce, consolidate, and analyze daily, monthly, and year‑to‑date P&L results; provide insightful variance analysis.
  • Prepare balance sheet substantiation and support reconciliations (e.g., accruals, deferred revenue, intercompany).
  • Deliver detailed analytical reporting to business managers and senior finance leadership.
  • Partner across finance, operations, and technology to design and implement robust controls and support new business initiatives.
  • Coordinate with front‑ and back‑office teams to resolve control and reporting issues accurately and on time.
  • Serve as an analytical and project resource for product control, including migration of workstreams into JPMC infrastructure.
  • Handle ad‑hoc requests and special analyses in a fast‑moving environment.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • 4+ years in Product Control, Financial Control, or Accounting.
  • Demonstrated experience with P&L reporting and month‑end close processes.
  • ERP experience (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and strong general ledger familiarity.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a controls‑first mindset with a focus on process improvement.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to build strong working relationships.
  • Proven ability to multitask, prioritize, and deliver under tight deadlines.
  • Advanced Excel skills (data analysis, reconciliations, modeling).
  • Team‑oriented, collaborative approach.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Proactively learns, asks thoughtful questions, and seeks context while driving tasks to completion and anticipates next steps.
  • Effective stakeholder management-provides clear status updates and responds promptly.
  • Ability to switch seamlessly between discussion and execution across multiple projects.
  • Creates neat, easy‑to‑understand spreadsheets others can use and audit (substance over form).
  • Employs cross‑checks and tie‑outs to validate work; consistently self‑reviews before submission.
  • Connects the dots across tasks and analyses to broader Frosch Travel operations and reporting.
  • Experience with data tools (e.g., PowerQuery, basic SQL, or visualization tools) is a plus.

  • This role requires the ability to physically work in our offices 5 days a week
