Private Banking Risk Manager - Vice President

Join our private banking risk management team and drive new analytical approaches and solutions.

As a Vice President, you will be part of a team of experts that provides oversight over the Private Bank Line of Business for EMEA.

Job responsibilities

  • Support data-driven risk management around client suitability risk.
  • Review, edit, and advise business on risk issues related to ESG and Reputational matters.
  • Work with senior management on firm wide issues and from time to time join working groups.
  • Understand complex products and structures available to clients which may present risk to the firm.
  • Partner with senior risk stakeholders in the region, in the oversight of fiduciary matters.
  • Undertake credible challenge on business processes and change initiatives.
  • Review, and draft procedures and best practices guidelines.
  • Work with Asset & Wealth Management Head of Reputation Risk and ESG Risk regarding current and new methods for analysing risks.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Strong and proven affinity with data management and analysis.
  • Good understanding of principal Private Banking products and services. A good understanding of how sustainability and ESG considerations apply to this business would be an asset.
  • Prior experience in Risk Management, Finance and/ or Compliance.
  • Analytical, solution-oriented and practical.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Specific knowledge of sustainability and suitability considerations.
  • SQL/Python and Tableau knowledge.
  • Demonstrate prior success with implementing innovative approaches around data analysis and visualisation.
