Job Summary
As an AEM Platform Support Specialist within the COS Knowledge Management team, you ensure the stability and optimization of AEM environments supporting our global content ecosystem. You coordinate technical operations with Adobe and internal partners, driving platform enhancements and operational excellence. You play a pivotal role in enabling scalable, metadata-driven authoring and content reuse across the organization.
Job Responsibilities
- Administer AEM Guides, Assets, and Sites environments for optimal performance.
- Configure workflows, templates, and metadata schemas to support secure authoring.
- Manage user permissions and access controls across the platform.
- Coordinate upgrades, enhancements, and system patches with Adobe and internal teams.
- Troubleshoot authoring, publishing, and output issues to ensure stability.
- Implement sustainable fixes for recurring technical problems.
- Collaborate with Business Authoring teams to streamline workflows.
- Generate reports and dashboards on publishing performance and system metrics.
- Monitor platform health and proactively address potential risks.
- Support end-user efficiency through training and documentation.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives for content lifecycle management.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills
- Demonstrate 5+ years of experience in AEM administration or platform support.
- Apply strong knowledge of AEM workflows, templates, and metadata schemas.
- Utilize familiarity with DITA XML and structured authoring principles.
- Coordinate upgrades and enhancements with global vendor and technology partners.
- Exhibit excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively across cross-functional, global teams.
- Maintain curiosity and commitment to staying current with industry trends and innovations.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills
- Leverage experience working with AEM as a Cloud Service.
- Employ exposure to automation tools, reporting scripts, or QA validation frameworks.
- Integrate experience in financial services or other regulated industries.
- Adapt quickly to evolving enterprise content management technologies.
- Contribute insights from working in large-scale, global organizations.
- Support process automation and efficiency improvements.
- Enhance platform capabilities through innovative solutions
