As an Analytics Solutions Senior Associate on the Digital & Design Domain Services team, you will be at the forefront of developing data solutions that drive business impact. Your role is pivotal in ensuring data-driven analysis and automated reporting shape group strategy, assess opportunities, and measure progress against key objectives. This role is a mix of data science, consulting (problem solving, thought leadership, client management), and product management across the development and implement lifecycle for product analytics solutions. Overall, this role presents an opportunity to apply analytics and strategy skills to a broad range of challenges, learn about financial services lines of business and products (e.g., payments, banking, and digital), gain exposure to cutting edge technologies (e.g. Python, Snowflake, Streamlit, and Tableau) and methods, and communicate insights to a wide range of stakeholders and leadership audiences.

Job responsibilities

  • Conduct quantitative analysis to identify strategic, actionable opportunities for the Payments Digital & Design Product business
  • Work with large data sets to conduct analyses that include scoping, gathering, wrangling, and visualization
  • Automate analyses into dashboards and analytics products used across Payments Digital & Design product teams and senior-level management reporting to enhance the customer experience at scale
  • Support the prototyping of machine learning algorithms, communicating analytical results to various audiences, and assessing new data sources and techniques
  • Use product design and management discipline working with Data Science and Technology partners to deliver scalable data solutions
  • Adhere to standards of excellence of the team by demonstrating professional expertise, strong work ethic, integrity, and professional behavior

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 3+ years of experience within MIS, Business Intelligence, and/or Analytics roles
  • Deep understanding of the financial services or Payments industry
  • Experience analyzing large data sets using programming languages such as Python, R, SQL and/or Spark and experience using data science libraries (e.g. Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, Matplotlib, and Seaborn)
  • Demonstrated knowledge of data warehousing concepts and exposure to one or more Business Intelligence toolsets and database platforms: Tableau, Snowflake, Databricks, Oracle/SQL Server/Teradata, Cognos/BO, SAS/R
  • Experience using machine learning techniques and advanced analytics (e.g. regression, classification, clustering, time series, causal inference, and natural language processing)
  • Deep understanding of the financial services or Payments industry
  • Excellent communication, presentation, problem solving, and teamwork skills
  • Undergraduate degree in a quantitative discipline, MBA or other Masters' degree preferred
