Payments Program Manager, Vice President

Our priority is to create a best-in-class Campus Program to attract, develop and retain talented Payments professionals and future leaders. The Program is global in nature with participants in the US, EMEA, APAC and LATAM. It spans across two-years during which analysts perform three, eight-month cross-department rotations within core disciplines of Payments to ensure the appropriate experience and skill development to achieve the program's objective of creating future leadership

As the Payments Program Manager you will work with key stakeholders within Payments and partner closely with Campus Recruiting, Training, Compensation and the Payments HR Business Advisors (HRBAs). The Payments Program Manager position sits within the CIB Payments HR Advisory team, and you as the Payments Program Manager will be an active participant and team member within the Firmwide Early Entry Program team. As the Payments Program Manager you will play a variety of roles including supporting Analysts and Summer Interns, developing and managing key business relationships, and managing the overall program strategy and execution.

As the Payments Project Manager you will have end-to-end ownership of the program from creating and guiding end-to-end strategy (development strategy, post program strategy, performance management, compensation and key program metrics) through the daily execution of the program (placement, coaching, rotations and issue resolution). The program will need continuous improvement, this role also offers ongoing design and process improvement opportunities aligning with the Payments People Strategy. Finally, this role will partner heavily with the CIB--Payments Training teams to provide input to the ongoing curriculum requirements.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage all core Analyst processes including role identification, rotations, end of program mobility, performance management, compensation, and training & development
  • Work with key stakeholders in the business and HR to refine and execute recruiting strategies, role alignment, training and development strategies, engagement, performance management & compensation, and other key program strategies and decisions
  • End to End Project and Program Management, report on key metric, improve and refine the operational aspects of managing a global rotational program
  • Partner closely with campus recruiting on refining the candidate profile, recruiting activities, diversity, intern placements and any initiative that comes up
  • Provide on-the-ground support to Analysts and Summer Interns
  • Collaborate with global counterparts in creating one coherent experience across the regions and a consistent program framework
  • Advice, guide and partner with Rotational Managers and the business representatives to ensure a great experience for the analysts as well as consistent feedback loop

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Exceptional project and process management skills; with at least 5 years in a Program Management/management-aligned role, track record of managing programs/Projects end to end
  • Innovative and creative; able to generate new ideas; forward-thinker who can evolve the Program with the changing needs of the business; thought-leader
  • Successfully manage change and implement process improvements and enhancements
  • Acute attention to detail, follow-through and results orientation.
  • Both High degree of initiative and autonomy and able to function successfully as part of a team and collaborate on various initiates
  • High level of EQ and experience with direct and/or indirect people management, including providing feedback, coaching, and development planning
  • Able to successfully multi-task across tactical and strategic initiatives

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communications, presentation, facilitation skills, and willingness to travel
  • 8+ years of experience working in Operations, Financial Services Industry or HR organizations, with a track record of managing multiple, strategic client relationships at the Executive level as well as the Supervisor level
  • Strong executive presence and honed consultative and influencing skills
  • Excel and data analytics skills, you should be able to tell a story with data
