As a Financial Planning and Analysis Associate in Finance, you will lead and coordinate budgeting and forecasting to inform earnings and capital projections across scenarios. You will partner with firmwide teams to prepare management reports and executive presentations. You will develop models and conduct deep-dive analyses to identify drivers, root causes, and solutions. You will help ensure timely, accurate delivery of recurring and ad-hoc initiatives for senior stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead budgeting and forecasting processes across short and long-term horizons and economic scenarios.
  • Partner with business lines and functional finance to deliver impactful reporting and planning.
  • Produce presentations, analyses, and materials for senior management and key internal clients.
  • Develop and consolidate qualitative and quantitative analyses, including budgets and forecast variance reviews.
  • Create, maintain, and review recurring and ad-hoc financial models and analyses.
  • Conduct deep-dive analyses to determine root causes of key issues and propose solutions.
  • Collaborate across planning and analysis, business lines, and support teams for timely delivery of initiatives.
  • Prepare management reports and executive-ready materials for leadership committees and the board.
  • Synthesize multiple data sets into cohesive presentations and recommendations.
  • Support ad-hoc projects and special requests with structured analysis and clear communication.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with firmwide stakeholders and business partners.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting
  • 4+ years of relevant planning and analysis experience
  • Strong judgment, integrity, work ethic, and results orientation with ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to comprehend and clearly communicate complex concepts in dynamic environments.
  • Excellent organizational, management, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proficiency with spreadsheet and presentation tools; ability to build and audit financial models.
  • Ability to navigate large, complex data sets and synthesize clear recommendations.
  • Detail orientation and composure under pressure; adept at handling multiple initiatives.
  • Team-oriented, inquisitive, and proactive mindset; anticipates stakeholder questions.
  • Ability to build strong partnerships, learn quickly, be flexible, and think strategically.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Advanced credentials are a plus, preferably in financial services.
  • Experience creating executive-level reports and board-ready materials.
  • Familiarity with enterprise data visualization tools (for example, Tableau or Qlik); exposure to enterprise planning systems and financial data warehouses.
  • Experience in agile, project-based work delivering recurring and ad-hoc initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to improve processes and enhance efficiency and data quality.
  • Financial services industry experience working with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Advanced degree or certification (for example, Master of Business Administration, Certified Public Accountant, Chartered Financial Analyst) is beneficial.
