Payments - Liquidity & Account Solution Specialist - Vice President

The Solutions Specialist is responsible for end-to-end solution design to ensure funds are available at the right time, in the right location, and the right currency - whether the client is the treasurer of a traditional corporate or a payments-enabled company such as a marketplaces or digital services provider. This means determining the right account type and location and the optimal automated funding and multi-currency solution to support both the financial and commercial transaction of the client.

This role is focused on providing specialized advisory during sales engagement process to support corporate clients in moving liquidity intelligently and in a way that unlocks value while meeting financial, regulatory, and business objectives. The Solution Specialist is to creatively combine traditional and next generation products such as physical and notional pooling, blockchain, and virtual accounts with, as a core objective besides meeting the client needs, to increase market share and retain the bank's leading position in the global and regional liquidity & account management space.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead specialist on client/prospect calls; tailor solutions; drive global RFP responses and pitches.
  • Identify treasury opportunities to position liquidity and account solutions for intercompany trade and merchant settlement flows.
  • Apply end-to-end liquidity/account structuring expertise and corporate regulatory know-how, including third-party money considerations.
  • Engage clients and stakeholders with deep subject expertise; influence product build and roadmap.
  • Leverage industry trends and technologies (data science, digital transformation, blockchain, fintech) to inform solutions and innovation.
  • Expand J.P. Morgan's liquidity wallet share via cross-sell across regions and Lines of Business (e.g., Trade, Merchant Services).
  • Provide thought leadership and market expertise to accelerate product innovation and platform transformation.
  • Serve as APAC market expert on regulations and trends affecting automated funding, cash extraction, and payout/settlement; embed strong risk/control behaviors.
  • Proactively identify, escalate, and remediate issues; promote inclusion and best-practice adoption across teams and stakeholders.
  • Partner with corporate bankers and treasury sales to target opportunities, align to client buying/usage behavior and regulatory impacts; run enablement and positioning programs to deliver balance/revenue plans.
  • Elevate market presence through client/industry engagement (events, seminars, webinars, presentations); ground initiatives in client validation and monitor competition, economy, regulation, and client behavior.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Bachelors degree in Finance or related equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years experience in client-facing product/sales functions product/sales and preferably in treasury management for both Mid & Large Cap companies
  • Demonstrated experience in liquidity management and payment solutions
  • Familiarity with market and industry trends including regulatory changes impact the treasury services industry, and technological advancements such as blockchain
  • Awareness of domestic and international tax/accounting implications of liquidity and account solutions, from clients' perspective
  • Execution-oriented, independent operator who likes to take initiative and is able to deliver in efficient and effective manner
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, demonstrating experience of operating successfully within larger cross-functional organizations
  • Strong understanding and appreciation of the regulatory and control environment
  • Strong communications skills and presentation skills
  • Strong organizational and strategic skills
