As an Operations Associate in Payments Investigations, you will support day‑to‑day processing and resolution of client inquiries related to wire transfers on Chase branches for Treasury clients. You will own investigations end to end, ensuring accuracy, control adherence, and timely outcomes while partnering with Client Service and internal teams. You will contribute to continuous improvement by identifying process enhancements and supporting cross‑training. You will develop in‑depth knowledge of global payments and industry practices while working in a collaborative environment.

Job responsibilities:

  • Process investigations and transactions in line with documented procedures and controls.
  • Meet all deadlines and control requirements across assigned functions and daily work queues.
  • Execute manual instructions for global currency fund/wire transfers with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Analyze and validate data for completeness and accuracy; correct exceptions as needed.
  • Review, research, and post manual entries to resolve funds transfer inquiries end to end.
  • Engage with clients and Client Service teams to provide and obtain updates on wire investigations.
  • Identify and implement improvements to current work practices and backup processes.
  • Participate in function rotations to maintain continuity and avoid workflow degradation.
  • Work with minimal supervision, proactively identifying tasks and escalating issues appropriately.
  • Support the training and upskilling of colleagues on procedures and job functions.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Bachelor's degree with a strong academic record.
  • Experience in international payment processing operations.
  • Working knowledge of SWIFT and international payment conventions and practices.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and effective teamwork across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proactive problem‑solving with ownership mindset and appropriate escalation.
  • Client‑focused approach with strong analytical and attention‑to‑detail skills.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Experience in back‑office operations at a foreign bank or processing arm/private or public sector bank, ideally with supervisory exposure.
  • Exposure to Treasury services or wire investigations in a high‑volume operations environment.
  • Experience with case management/workflow tools used in payments operations.
